Walk Leader : John Adams
John Adams is a walk leader for a group of walkers known as the Wyre Ramblers. On the coach for each trip John provides a brief printed summary of the planned walk for those wishing to join him.
The walks his group undertakes make good
use of not being constricted to a circular route. With a suitable dropping off and pickup point John plans many fine walks along some of the less frequented footpaths of Northern England.

Today's walk is fairly strenuous as we ascend to the summit of Ingleborough, a 1900ft ascent over 3 miles. Part of the descent is off any marked path, so it may be rough underfoot
