Walk Leader : John Adams
John Adams is a walk leader for a group of walkers known as the Wyre Ramblers. On the coach for each trip John provides a brief printed summary of the planned walk for those wishing to join him.
The walks his group undertakes make good
use of not being constricted to a circular route. With a suitable dropping off and pickup point John plans many fine walks along some of the less frequented footpaths of Northern England.

Given the predicted weather expect the walk we do today to be a hard one, with two steep ascents of close on 1000ft each. We did this walk in July 2005, when the weather was very much kinder.
