Walk Leader : John Adams
John Adams is a walk leader for a group of walkers known as the Wyre Ramblers. On the coach for each trip John provides a brief printed summary of the planned walk for those wishing to join him.
The walks his group undertakes make good use of not being constricted to a circular route. With a suitable dropping off and pickup point John plans many fine walks along some of the less frequented footpaths of Northern England.

Today's walk, although not of great length, does have three distinct climbs. The first and third ascents are steep, being 750ft/230m and 1520ft/462m respectively.

Navigate :
(L) after Footbridge, northwest, uphill to Yewdale Moss

North to Tilberthwaite Gill

West to join Wetherlam Edge footpath (L) to go souhwest to Wetherlam summit.

South to join Hole Rake footpath, (R) and continue south join the Youth Hostel Track
