The Garth is an extremely comfortable
country house in one of the prettiest,
unspoiled villages in the South Lakes.
We overlook Esthwaite Water and the
mountains and have a superb large garden,
croquet lawn and stunning views.
Peace and quiet, proximity to all the best
of the Lakes, touches of luxury, all these
make your stay one to remember.

Walk Leader : John Adams
John Adams is a walk leader for a group of walkers known as the Wyre Ramblers. On the coach for each trip John provides a brief printed summary of the planned walk for those wishing to join him.
The walks his group undertakes make good
use of not being constricted to a circular route. With a suitable dropping off and pickup point John plans many fine walks along some of the less frequented footpaths of Northern England.
