 Stickle Tarn and Pavey Ark . . . John ponders as to whether we have sufficient time to ascend Pavey Ark by "Jack's Rake" . . . . . . the Jack's Rake route looks a little fierce from here . . . . . . it's hardly visible on the map but it is marked as a black dotted line . . . . . . if you look closely between the steep contours on the map you can just see it marked . . . . . .
