and follow the uphill footpath to Tarn Hows

north before departing by a (R) path

Heading south to the Tarn Hows car park. (L)
and south through Hill Fell Plantation, taking a (R) fork to a lane
just above the B5285 road

Southwest along an unmarked roadside path to
High Water Head

(R) to pass Boon Crag Farm, then (L) to pass
through Guards Wood to High Guards before again joining part of the
Cumbria Way
