Walk Leader : John Adams
John Adams is a walk leader for a group of walkers known as the Wyre Ramblers. On the coach for each trip John provides a brief printed summary of the planned walk for those wishing to join him.
The walks his group undertakes make good
use of not being constricted to a circular route. With a suitable dropping off and pickup point John plans many fine walks along some of the less frequented footpaths of Northern England.

The walk today should be a pleasant one to take in views across to the Scottish Borders from the summits, and a delightful return back along the "Cumbria Way" to finish. We have two main ascents today, one over 1000ft / 310m, the second around 400ft / 130m.
