Ambleside - Clappersgate - Skelwith Fold - Skelwith Bridge
Skelwith Force - Elterwater - High Close Youth Hostel
Loughrigg Terrace - Rydal - Ambleside

An easy walk suitable for almost any conditions. A little road walking is required but this is mostly along quite country lanes. The stretch of footpath between Skelwith Force and Elterwater can be prone to some flooding.
This medium length walk starts at the northern end of Windermere and passes by three other lakes, Elterwater, Grasmere and Rydal.
