Situated in one of the most picturesque villages of the English Lake District, this small family
run guest house is surrounded by dramatic scenery and is only a short walk from the northern
edge of Lake Windermere.

Accommodation

We have eight attractive and well appointed en-suite rooms. Choose from family,
triple, twin, double or single with either a bath or shower room.

Stylishly simple and tranquil, our eight en-suite rooms have been newly decorated
to offer a comfortable, warm and relaxing place to chill-out after a day’s activities

You can rest a-while, then, with heaps of hot water always on tap and fluffy soft towels,
take a bath or shower and prepare for a night on the town (wine glasses and corkscrew
provided for that pre-dinner tipple!!). Radio alarm clocks, colour televisions and hairdryers
come as standard in each room too.

Set yourself up for a day’s walking or sight-seeing with a full English Lakeland
breakfast with scrumptious top quality bacon and sizzling Cumberland sausages personally
made and delivered by Fred, our friendly local butcher! With fresh Lakeland Farm eggs,
plump mushrooms, grilled juicy tomatoes and all the trimmings




Windermere

With this beautiful lake and the mountains at the doorstep, including Helvellyn,
one of England’s highest peaks, there is always somewhere new to explore
in this lovely region and you will never be short of something to do.
