for your holiday comfort and to take advantage of the beautiful garden, which is an ongoing project.
Mirefoot Cottages Garden
The garden was created from an existing garden nearly 20 years ago.
The pond is man made but has mellowed with extensive planting throughout those 20 years.
There is a large arbouretum of unusual trees throughout and a large selection of rhododendrons
and azaleas which flower through the whole spring and early summer season.
Garden furniture is provided for you to sit and relax and enjoy parts of the garden

Set in over an acre of landscaped gardens including pond, stream, arboretum and tennis court.
As Guests in The Lake District Holiday Cottages you are welcome to spend time exploring
and relaxing in parts of the garden where seating is available.
The fells of the Lake District are immediately accessible from our own bridle path.
