Inside there are two cosy double bedrooms furnished in country style,
with good reading lamps,
a well-stocked tea tray and TV and radio.
The two bedrooms share one
excellently appointed bathroom.
Well behaved dogs allowed "in rooms".
The bedrooms overlook the stream with its ford, footbridge and grassy
banks where
swallows swoop in the summer and you may see a heron dining on minnows.
The beck is also home to families of ducks.
If you dine you may have, for example, a starter of eggs, tomatoes,
capers and anchovies,
followed by Navarin of fell-bred lamb and chocolate gateau with cherries.
Please ask by phone for a full menu if you require dinner.
