Browside is set on the hillside at the foot of Coniston Old Man, in beautiful gardens with wonderful
Lakeland views overlooking Coniston Water towards Grizedale Forest and the Ambleside fells. 

Little Arrow is a peaceful area, perfect for touring the Lake District villages and picturesque valleys.
Hawkshead village is only 15 minutes away, Ambleside 25 minutes and Grasmere 35 minutes. 
For shopping we are half way between Kendal and Barrow-in-Furness, both only 45 minutes away.

Situated only 1.5 miles from Coniston village and 1/2 mile to the nearest pub, there is no need even to use
your car when staying at our Lake District bed and breakfast in Coniston. Our purpose built guest house offers
all day access, with guests given their own door keys and private front door.

Room 2 - 'Woodland'

King-size bed and pine furniture with french windows leading to a private patio and
garden to sit out in during the summer months or watch the birds feeding in winter.




Room 1 - 'Lake View'

Twin/Super-King-size bed, and is spacious and well equipped.
  It has pine furniture and country style decor with an excellent view
over the fields to my parent's Hill Sheep Farm and Coniston Water.
Many guests comment on this 'room with a view'.




Breakfast with a view

The dining room has a large window with excellent open views over fields.
With a pine dresser and local stone fire place this is a lovely room to start your day.

You can sit out in the garden of our Lake District bed and breakfast and enjoy the lovely views
and wildlife, watch the cows, sheep and chickens in the fields, or the many birds visiting our bird table.
