Brackenrigg Holiday Cottages are delightfully situated in the heart of the Lake District,
only two miles from Keswick and ten minutes' drive from Grasmere.

Our magnificent views span from Helvellyn to the Blencathra/Skiddaw range.

Brackenrigg is set in acres of garden, meadow and our own woodland, home to deer,
red squirrel and badgers. You can walk the fells from the door, or be in Borrowdale,
Ullswater or the Langdales after only a short drive.

Whether you're looking for a cosy retreat for two or a family holiday, it's a superb venue.

If you’re planning a large group, perhaps for a Birthday or re-union, we can offer a
combination of properties with enough space and facilities to make it a real success.

Many visitors to Lakeland are seasoned participants in much that this unique corner
of England has to offer. But many aren't and if that includes you - we're here to help.

We live here, and are normally on-hand to welcome you on arrival, advise on walks,
restaurants and shops, recommend touring routes & picnic spots.

Our holiday cottages are situated in the heart of some wonderful walking.
There are gentle routes from the door around Naddle & St. John's-in-the -Vale, and for
the more adventurous we can recommend routes up Helvellyn & Blencathra.
